Thanksgiving: Faith, Grit, and the American Table

Thanksgiving isn’t about politics, hashtags, or guilt trips from people who hate the country that feeds them. It’s about faith. It’s about family. It’s about giving thanks to God for what we’ve built, what we’ve earned, and what we still stand to protect.

The first Thanksgiving wasn’t a catered dinner or a photo op. It was a handful of tough souls sitting around a rough-hewn table after a year of hunger, sickness, and loss — giving thanks anyway. That’s the American way: gratitude through grit.

Today, while the loudest voices online try to rewrite history or shame tradition, we remember what really matters. It’s not about who’s offended. It’s about who’s thankful. It’s about bowing our heads before we dig in, not before the mob.

Thanksgiving is when the heart of America shows its face — hardworking families, folding chairs in the garage, football on the TV, and laughter that drowns out the noise. It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence. It’s about knowing that even when the world feels divided, this day still pulls us back to something solid: faith, family, and freedom.

So let the pundits argue. Let the ungrateful sneer.
We’ll be busy carving turkey, raising glasses, and thanking the good Lord above for another year on free soil.

From our table to yours — stay proud, stay thankful, and stay free.
Happy Thanksgiving from Patriot & Sons.
